Cyber Crime in Malaysia: RM1 Billion Lost by Conned Victims

Malaysia one of the country who did not fall behind on the progress in the field of IT. Beside of that, our country also can't miss with the crime with the cyber criminal and corruption using the online method. 

The latest news history will be born after we received from one article about Cyber Crime cases. Accoring to them Malaysia is worse than Mexico in cyber crime. According to Sophos Security Threat Report 2013, Malaysia is the sixth most vulnerable to cyber crime. Listed among the 10 riskiest countries, Malaysia is also reported to be highly exposed to Android PC and devices malware attacks. Remember that in the event of a cyber crime, victims can lodge a report with CyberSecurity Malaysia.

For me this not too critical if we compare with others country like Philippines and Indonesia base on their economic and social development, as we know that country is  still in development of political issues. But that not a reason and we can't run from all this problem, because base on our news culture in Malaysia all people already close like life in the cyberspace.

Work and business and real life, what we should know as people working using consistency in IT and online sectors, the majority of cyber crime happens through e-mail, so never open any attachments that you are not expecting and never click on questionable links you find in the body of an e-mail.
